This is our award for innovative programming across a range of genres.
The winner will be a production that stands out. It may focus on the
ingenious or the eccentric. It may be an historical story told in a fresh
and innovative way. It may be biographical. It could be about finance or
sport.
Whatever the subject, we want a bold, attention-grabbing production
that’s expertly told and beautifully crafted.
There will be great visuals in the winning entry, and if there’s a
presenter (or presenters), they will be engaging and enthusiastic.
Our judges will want to see conversation-leading ideas that provide a
compelling reason to watch the programme.
Your specialist programme should have been transmitted or made
available online between 1 June 2015 and 30 June 2016.
