This category will reward a feature that, in no more than 20 minutes,
succeeds in giving audiences an insight into the contemporary world.
This award is not limited to TV channels but is open also to online
platforms, such as specialist video sites or newspapers and magazines,
where there’s a high demand for quality short productions.
We expect the winning short feature to be distinctive and eye-catching.
It should present a story carefully, without bias, and must have high
production values.
We’re expecting fresh ideas and a fresh approach to the way stories are
told.
We’re not limiting the subjects that can be covered but whatever the
theme, this will be a short feature that captures imaginations.
The short feature should have been transmitted or made available
online between 1 June 2015 and 30 June 2016.
