USA 2026 Midterm Elections Live Coverage on France 24 in French, English, Arabic and Spanish

2 November 2026

On Tuesday, November 3, Americans head to the polls for the midterm elections, which will notably determine the balance of power in Congress, two years after Donald Trump’s return to the White House. Against a backdrop of deep political polarisation, the vote represents a crucial test for the remainder of his presidency and the balance of power in the United States.

To mark the occasion, France 24’s four channels (in English, French, Arabic and Spanish) will provide special coverage, featuring live news bulletins, debates, reports, and analysis to examine the key issues at stake and follow the results throughout election night. This extensive coverage will be available on air and across the international news channel’s digital platforms.
