France 24 ready for the Paralympic Games
Following the success of its Olympic Games coverage in Paris, France 24 is gearing up to celebrate the upcoming Paralympic Games, taking place from August 28 to September 8. Special programming will be available across France 24’s four channels — in English, French, Arabic, and Spanish — as well as on its digital platforms. The coverage will feature special editions for the ceremonies and exclusive athlete portraits, along with in-depth analysis and reports focused on the achievements of athletes with disabilities. France 24 remains steadfast in its commitment to representing persons with disabilities in its productions and programmes, reaffirming through this special programming for the Paralympic Games its dedication to promoting the values upheld by parasports.
- France 24’s special envoys will be on-site at the Paralympic Games, providing real-time reports on the competitions’ highlights: James Vasina, Paul Millar (EN), Cédric Ferreira, Stéphanie Trouillard, Romain Houeix (FR), Olivier Fiani, Allaoua Mezziani (AR), and Natalia Ruiz (ES).
- Throughout the Paralympic Games, France 24’s four channels will feature a daily column broadcast ‘Paris Games’ and a ‘Sports News Bulletin.’ Both programmes will air multiple times during the day to ensure that audience across the globe do not miss any of the action.
- On August 28, from 7:10 pm to 7:55 pm, France 24 will broadcast a special edition dedicated to the Paralympic Games opening ceremony. The event will be presented by Selina Sykes (EN), Benoît Perrochais (FR), and Athmane Taïbi (AR), as well as Luis Méndez and Eumar Esaá (ES), with guests in the studio and special envoys on-site.
- On September 9, from 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm, France 24 will air a special edition focused on the closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games, highlighting the key moments and the exceptional performances of the athletes. The coverage will be presented by Selina Sykes (EN), Benoît Perrochais (FR), and Fouzi Bendjama (AR), as well as Luis Méndez and Eumar Esaá (ES).
