We’ve had more entries than ever before for this year’s AIB Media Excellence
Awards – the fourth international competition administered by the Association
for International Broadcasting that rewards excellence in TV, radio and online
programming, marketing and technology.
In fact, 2008 has brought almost three times the number of entries we
received in 2007, demonstrating that the AIB Awards have most definitely caught
the imagination of programme makers, editors, journalists and others in
international media companies.
We’re now starting the shortlisting process and then it will be up to our
international panel of judges to assess the shortlisted entries and feed their
results back in time for our gala Awards dinner
in London on 12 November. A large
