CAREER
Born in Sydney, Australia, Wayne Borg
started his career as a marketing
trainee with Unilever and Pepsico. In
1993 he moved to the UK to join the
Walt Disney Company. From 1994 he
held a number of senior positions with
Warner Bros and in 2000 he was
approached to set up Universal
Pictures International operations in
Australia and New Zealand. A
promotion to VP Asia Pacific/Latin
America in 2003 saw him return to
London; from 2005 he was as Senior
VP also responsible for Southern
Europe and the establishment of UPI’s
Russian operations. In 2006 he
became Executive VP, Commercial for
UPI. Wayne joined twofour54 in
February 2008 as Chief Operating
Officer and key member of the
launch/start up team. Since February
2011 Wayne has been Deputy CEO and
COO.
