most unusual images of the week, broadcast

in “No Comment”, are also available on

euronews.net.

Seven days a week broadcasting is provided

by 250 staff including 160 journalists based

in Lyon, France. EuroNews is the only news

channel that brings together experienced

journalists from over 10 countries in Europe

– this guarantees that there is no specific

viewpoint or bias. I strongly believe with the

support of our 19 public broadcasting

shareholders we will reinforce EuroNews’

role as a unique and essential public

television service for all citizens of the

European Union. Our viewers are all those

who need a different television news

perspective, one that is not biased by any

CNN International (205,000). In Spain,

in EuroNews’ viewership. EuroNews has seen

increases in daily reach of 50% in Denmark, 46%

in the Netherlands and 20% in Ireland.

Olivier de Montchenu, Sales and Distribution

Director of EuroNews says: ‘Following the EMS

2004 survey, EuroNews is one more time

confirmed as the channel of choice for decision-

makers and business travellers in Europe. The

survey shows that the multilingual proposition

of EuroNews and its unique concept of a digital

bouquet fitting all digital platforms (satellite,

cable, ADSL, broadband internet, mobile phone)

represent a huge competitive advantage and we

all know that reaching each European opinion

leader in his or her own language increases

advertising impact.’
