WHO RUNS THESE AWARDS?

The

AIBs

are run by the Association for International Broadcasting, the

not-for-profit, non-governmental industry association for the

international broadcasting industry. This celebration of media

excellence was first presented in 2005 at the request of AIB’s members.

LANGUAGES

We welcome entries in all languages. The judging process is in

English. All non-English language TV entries must be subtitled. Radio

entries must have an English language transcript.

ENTERING THE

AIBS

Go to

theaibs.tv

and complete the entry form.

When we receive your entry form and payment, we will e-mail

details of how to upload your content.

The closing date is 30 June 2016.

HOWMANY ENTRIES CAN I SEND?

There is no limit to the number of entries you can submit.

You must complete a separate entry form and pay the fee for each

entry.

ENTRY INFORMATION - TV

Entries should be in SD or HD and 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio.

All entries must be submitted as they were initially broadcast with no

re-editing

except

for the journalism category where you can send a

compilation of coverage with a maximum duration of 30 minutes.

Please record the programme audio on channels 1 and 2. Ask a

technician to verify that the audio and video have been properly

recorded.

You need to supply a synopsis and other relevant information about

your entry for the benefit of the judges.

Non-English language entries must be supplied with subtitles.

Please make sure that time code is

not

visible.

TV PERSONALITY

All entries must be supported with a biography and one or more

high–resolution JPG photographs.

Showreels should provide sufficient material for the judges to

evaluate the entry. The showreel should be a minimum 15 minutes

and a maximum 30 minutes in length.

For showreels not in English, entries must have subtitles

Entries should recorded as BWF, WAV or MP3 files.

Please supply a synopsis and other relevant information about your

entry for the benefit of the judges.
