acceptance. BroadcastAsia2003 provides a
platform for industry players to exchange ideas

technology so as to raise the overall
competitiveness of the Asian broadcasting
industry in line with global trends.”

such as computer graphics, audio equipment,
interactive TV systems, automation equipment
and more will be paraded under the umbrella
of Broadcast2003’s three specialist events
CableSat, ProfessionalAudioTechnology and
ComGraphics&Animation.
Visitors to BroadcastAsia2003 will also find

such as Avid, Discreet and Quantel. On the

BroadcastAsia in 2001 but
returned in 2002 and
immediately signed up for
2003. Our customers missed us.
BroadcastAsia is the best event for Quantel
to showcase its generationQ range to the post
houses and broadcasters in the region.”
Companies such as China’s Beijing Phylion
Battery Company hope to leverage
BroadcastAsia2003 as a springboard for
overseas expansion. “We participated in
BroadcastAsia2002 to expand our overseas
business and it proved to be a wise decision,”
said Ms. Jing Jin of the company’s marketing
department. “We met many important clients
from Japan, Hong Kong, Israel and other
countries and developed long-term
relationships with some of them. We hope to
meet more buyers and distributors from all
over the world at BroadcastAsia2003.”
MSA Focus has signed up to be at
BroadcastAsia2003 because of brisk business
at last year’s show. “We secured contracts as a
direct result of (BroadcastAsia2002) and gained
a foothold in the Indonesian market with
contracts at both Trans TV and TV7,” enthused
Mark Evans, Managing Director, MSAFocus.
